How do i buy cellphones in gta4 for ps3?

I want to upgrade my cell on gta, where do i go to get one?

You can’t buy a cellphone, you get them as gifts in certain missions. You can however get ring tones and themes off the ingame internet.

Anyway the first cell phone you get is from Roman, in the second mission (or maybe the third, I forget)

The second cell phone you get is from Playboy X. I forget which mission, though.

There isn’t a third one, so if you’re looking for that, you’re gonna be looking forever… and ever…. and ever.

Switching to home and cell phones to only cellphones?

I want to switch to only cellphones because then i would get my own cellphone and my mom isn’t sure because we have a really easy number to remember. Also she is not sure if 700 total minutes is enough for 5 people. Is there any way to convince her to switch and will we save any significant money?

The only advantage of cell phones it that they are mobile, and save money on long distance phone calls.
We don’t have a land line, only cell phones, because all most of our phone calls are long distance,
I agree with your mom, 700 minutes is not enough,
if you want your own phone, the earn the money and buy your own.
you can buy pre-paid cell phones and only pay for the minutes that you use.

Can standing infront of a microwave while its cooking something give you cancer?
And what about heating up food that are in PLASTIC containers?

And i heard that talking on cellphones alot will give you cancer or tumors in your ear?

Can anyone please tell me if this is true?

No, not fully…
They can give you radiation waves which could encourage cancer and be a slight factor.
But can not give you direct cancer.

This is only if you spend too much time around electricals

What time do night minutes end for Verizon cellphones?

Posted on September 8, 2008
By admin in cellphones

I have unlimited nights and weekends, and my nights start at nine. But they never told me when they ended. Midnight seems a bit soon, but you never know.

They usually end at 5:59am the next morning. =]

Hope this helps.

why shouldnt kids be allowed to use their cellphones?

Posted on September 5, 2008
By admin in cellphones

kids in their age of 0 to 13.
these are the negative effects that ive already put: electromagnetic radiation, bullying, … i guess thats about it loll. i was thinking of putting something about the fact that cellphones make kids unsafe, but to what extent? i dont know. can you guys look with me?

There are some "negatives" to be sure, but for 12 year olds, I would say that the positives of having a cell phone outweigh the neg.

Not much radiation.
9-1-1 accessibility
'in keeping with the crowd' (peer pressure)
communication possible with parents

Just put your foot down and let the children know when, where and how a cellphone can be used.

How does the stewardess or pilot know that everyone inside the airplane has switched off their cellphones?

I'm a pilot and I usually forget to turn my phone off.. same goes for my captains that i fly with.. ive never seen anything crazy going on in the cockpit as a result.. flight attendants have no idea if youve turned off your phone or not.. at most, the pilots hear a buzzing noise in their headsets.. however, it is a good idea to turn your phone off in flight because they eat up the battery trying to search for a signal.. its very possible to go on a 4 hour flight with a fully charged cell phone and land with a completely dead cell phone..

What is the difference between analog and digital, with cellphones for example?

Posted on September 5, 2008
By admin in cellphones

My cell phone switched to analog automaticly when I went out of town and I wasn't able to send or receive text messages or surf the web. I was still able to send and receive calls though.

think analog as old school and digital more up to date. when you go to places that are harder to get a signal your phone will switch to analog-old school-because the place its at is old school

something like that (in simple terms)

what is the difference of an infrared to the bluetooth in cellphones?

Posted on September 5, 2008
By admin in cellphones

how do infrared and bluetooth works in cellphones?

Infrared (IrDA) is a optical wireless technology, it requires line of sight between two devices. The data transfer rate is limited and only a handful of phones still have IrDA. Bluetooth is radio frequency based wireless technology and does not require line of sight. They can operate in the range of 10-40m depending on the brand. Most of the new cellphones have bluetooth and there plenty of bluetooth based accessories such as bluetooth headset, speakers, mini keyboards etc.
